Low-cost carrier Volotea will commence a new regular service between Strasbourg Airport and London Gatwick from 9 November.
The new route, operated exclusively by Volotea, will operate twice weekly on Thursday and Sunday and marks the carrier’s first regular service to the UK.
The carrier is investing heavily in expanding its operations in France, having recently announced a new service between Paris Orly and its Spanish hub in Bilbao as well as two new routes from Bordeaux to the Italian cities of Napoli and Rome.
The Orly-Bilbao service, exclusive to the carrier, will commence from 10 November with two flights per week on Tuesday and Friday.
Twice-weekly flights between Bordeaux and Rome Fiumicino will commence from 9 November for the winter season, while twice-weekly flights to Napoli will take off from 20 December.
